House Groups
The congregation at Saint Andrew's is quite large, with over 100 people typically in church at our 10am service on Sunday, drawn from a much larger pool of folk who attend on a regular basis. In a congregation of this size it is important that people have plenty of opportunity to belong to smaller groups which provide a network of personal relationships and occasions for fellowship and friendship.
There are lots of different groups within the life of our congregation that perform this function, and some people belong to more than one of them at once. Of particular importance for Christian nurture within the congregation are the network of House Groups which meet fortnightly through the year. The groups vary in size, but are mostly made up of between 8 and 14 people who meet together to read the Bible, discuss topics of interest or concern, pray, and enjoy Christian fellowship.
If you are interested in joining a group please contact the Rector in the first instance.
